Hello, my name is Daniel and I'm an above-the-knee leg amputee. My leg was amputated over 2 years ago and I received an artificial limb at some point but there were still complications along the way. A bone spur had formed at the end of my amputation and revision surgery was the result to correct it which has resulted in unpaid out of pocket medical costs. Furthermore I will be needing a brand new socket for my artificial limb since the old one does not fit any longer as well as out patient rehabilitation which is going to result in more medical costs up front.
