Hello. I have started this fundraiser to help my great friends, Glen and his wife Christine, raise money to help cover Glen's ongoing medical costs. Last week Glen had surgery to remove a cancerous mass from his pancreas. In the last 10 years, Glen has successfully fought cancer three times; he was diagnosed with his 4th bout of cancer in January 2024, and last week he had yet another surgery. As of right now, it is unclear what further treatments Glen will need, but as this new cancer had already begun to spread, he undoubtedly will need more treatment. Each bout with cancer has involved surgeries (at least 6 so far), chemotherapy, radiation, and ongoing testing. So far Glen has lost his spleen, gall bladder, part of his liver, part of his pancreas, and he has had two colon resections. And yet he fights on, for himself, his wife, and their lovely children, Gabriel and Lucia. For his most recent cancer, Glen has had to go on disability. Insurance has only paid part of his treatments; even before this fourth cancer, Glen and Christine had outstanding hospital bills from previous cancer treatments. Worrying about money, and how he will continue to support his family, is making Glen's recovery even harder. Any little bit you can donate will help Glen and Christine.
