Hi my name is Martine and I have had Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer for just over 2 years now. This cancer is life altering as I am unable to completely get rid of it. Due to the ongoing treatment I have had to give up my employment and therefore we are down to a single income family. . It started in my Breast and Bones and has spread to my Liver and Brain.

After oral tablets that worked for a year I then have enjured 20 rounds of chemo. I’m facing radiation therapy for a 5 day period and then starting back on chemo. My body is suffering everyday. I need this medication no matter how it makes me feel. The medical costs of daily medication and the radiation costs are growing and therefore I wanted to reach out to my wider community for assistance to help fund these costs.
