Greetings,
My name is Cynthia Bilbro. I am writing on behalf of my son, Terry Lee Bilbro ll. My husband Terry, and I are very grateful for your contributions to help.
First, before I tell you about Terry’s medical situation, I feel I must tell you about Terry II, himself. Terry, if you have ever had the opportunity to meet him, you would characterize his demeanor as a Kind, Respectful, Patient, and Generous person.
And yes, if you haven’t already perceived my passion and words are coming from a Mother’s Love and I am speaking from my heart.
Terry, is a Believer of Christ Jesus, who had gotten and is getting him through this medical ordeal. Terry, is also a Father who is driven by his passion working hard as an Independent Sales Contractor to provide for his 2 young Children. He is a Good Son, a Wonderful Brother and a Trustworthy Friend.
About approximately a week, prior to Monday, September 22, Terry told me he had gotten a cut on his big toe from an athletic shoe he had just recently purchased. I asked for him too show me his toe and it was pretty gruesome. I told him we needed to get to the ER right away.
ER determined right away Terry needed to be hospitalized. Terry was actually in a Severe State of Sepsis.
Terry had contracted 2 strains of a Bacterial infection. His Blood Sugar spiked, his Kidneys were in a chronic condition, Blood Pressure high and his Bloodstream was infected with this bacteria.
His Doctors (Surgeon, Nephrologist, Podiatrist ) came to the diagnosis that Terry’s big toe needed to be amputated to get control of the Bacterial infections.
Terry spent nearly 2 weeks in the hospital getting aggressive IV antibiotics, and 2 Surgical Procedures, one of which resulted in the amputation of his big toe and the other removing dead tissue from his left foot.
Terry was advised that if he had not sought medical treatment within 2 days he was have gone into Septic shock and ultimately died. This was quite surreal for him.
Here is were Terry ll, my husband and I humbly ask for your financial assistance.
During all this, Terry’s insurance provider said they will not cover ANY medical charges. Why?. Because he was Out-of-the-Network in Minnesota. This was not to his knowledge. The Provider eliminated certain eligibility states with Minnesota being on of them. This was not to Terry’s knowledge.
Unfortunately, critical services like a Home Health Nurse was denied for him to help care for his extensive wound.
Everything will be out of Pocket for him.
Terry’s medical bills are already quite overwhelming and are expected exponentially grow with all of the follow-up care he needs with various medical providers. Follow-up, Podiatry, Physical Therapy, Nephrology etc…
Terry is unable to work, during this recovery process, which is expected to take up to 2 months. He must also learn how to walk again.
Your consideration to give any amount will be GREATLY appreciated. GOD’s Grace is gotten him through the emotional and physical toll of this ordeal. And, I pray it will see him through the financial toll as well.
Please, if you can share is Terry’s story with anyone who may be going through the same ordeal.
Thank you very much
Terry II
Mr. & Mrs. Terry Bilbro Sr.
