Hi, my name is Cora. On December 1st, 2022 at 10:22am, I got 1 of the worst calls I had ever received. My youngest puppy was fighting for her life and I didn’t know if I would make it in time to say my goodbyes. Sitting feeling helpless, cold, and numb in the back room, I finally got some answers, but some I did not want to hear. My sweet Elsa had gotten into rat poison. She was internally bleeding and it had spread into her lungs. The vet informed me, while he was pumping blood into her, she was seconds away from death and is surprised she is still alive. They are keeping her over night, unknown of the status of her pulling through or not. If she is not doing any better by 7am on December 2nd, we will have to say our final goodbyes. If she is doing better, she will have to be moved to Blue pearl in Des Moines IA for more advanced care. I have spent all of my savings into testing and making sure Elsa will pull through. If she is moved to Des Moines, her room is far too much for me to afford at this moment. Any amount and prayers will definitely help. Thank you!
