Medical care needed for Jessica's mom

Hey everyone, Andrew writing here at Jessica’s request as she’s pretty overwhelmed at the moment. Last week, her mother Kim suffered a stroke which caused her to lose her speech and mobility, and placed her in Jessica’s care. This also came amongst a home foreclosure for her mom. The stroke caused her to return to a childlike state, sometimes speaking incoherently but sometimes whispering coherent words, with half her body being numb. The treatment the hospital recommended was for Kim to receive a bed at a speech therapy clinic, but without health insurance she was denied.

We’re not sure what the overall cost of recovery is going to be, but because the hospital released her mom with nowhere to go Jessica has to come up with money immediately to care for her. Jessica is currently staying in the guest room of a friend, and is now responsible for finding an assisted living facility that will house her mom (seems to be close to $4,000 a month depending on facility), paying for speech/physical therapy, and fitting housing as needed for a fall-risk patient until she can be placed in a facility, while also dealing with the foreclosure of her mother’s home and moving belongings. Anything you can give is much appreciated, and we’ll try to update with actual costs as it becomes known.
