I am fundraising for families in Myanmar who desperately need money to buy food and medicine. I lived in Myanmar for several years and have remained in contact with local members of communities who will directly benefit from any financial support to meet basic needs.

I am fundraising for my friends' wife Iris who is due to give birth to her first child in two months. Due to the condition of her pregnancy she has been medically advised to have a caesarean. This is not an option because of the lack of free medical care available and Iris's incredibly strained economic circumstances. Without the funds to support medical intervention Iris will have to give birth at home, which will come with great risks.

A lot of families are subsisting on rice and the cheapest oil available, the oil is imported and often dirty. I am also fundraising to support the opportunity to buy better quality oil and nutrition.
