Medical Care for Shadow the Kitten

Hello, my name is Alyssa Armstrong and I'm helping raise money for my brother's kitten, Shadow. At just 8 months old, she has fallen ill and we want to do everything we can to make sure she can live a long, healthy life. Currently, she has a collapsed lung and the vet fears either a tumor or viral infection might be possible. More diagnostic tests need to be done to figure out the best course of action and that is what this fundraiser is for.

Shadow's health issues are coming after a very long 7 months of loss within our family. In August of 2022, my brother had to put down his beloved dog Stormy who had a tumor. After that, we lost our grandmother unexpectedly followed by a few other loved ones. To top it all off, early this morning while at the vet with Shadow, my brother received the call that our other grandmother passed away.

Our pets are not just animals to us. They are part of our family and Shadow is the baby. She's so sweet and curious and full of personality. She is adored by everyone and we aren't ready to give up on her.
