Kandy has been my Little Sister since Big Brothers Big Sisters introduced us 20 years ago (1999!!!). I simply cannot imagine my life without her. She is hard working and the most generous, compassionate soul you will ever meet. She literally gives anything she has to help others.
Kandy recently encountered some serious health issues and, while she has basic insurance, the cost makes care unattainable for her. She needs to have all of her teeth removed at the young age of 30 years old. Her insurance will cover $1000 maximum. Because she hasn't been able to afford the care she needs it's now a severe infection. Her doctor said if she doesn't get the teeth removed immediately that infection will soon hit her blood stream. That would be devastating.
I do have her permission to ask for help. Her life could be at risk because of the cost of dental care. We would both be so grateful for any help - no matter how big or how small. The funds will be used to pay for the full extraction for all of her teeth and full dentures to move forward. Thank you!
