Medical care for James Parker

Hi, My name is Michelle. Many people have asked how they can help or if we have set up a gofundme account to help out the Parker family. Here is a small portion of what they're going through daily. We post daily updates on FB. 

James tested positive for Covid September 1st. He was put into the hospital on September 13th, he is in the ICU COVID UNIT, battling Covid Pneumonia. After, being in ICU a week he was Intubated and has recently went from the vent to a tracheotomy. It has been quite a roller-coaster ride for the family. His wife, Megan, has had to take on the role as both parents to their three kids. Heartlee (8), Emery (6), Linkyn (3). She is a warrior and is totally relying on her faith to see them through. She is keeping everything as familiar as possible for the kids, while they wait for their daddys return.

James is getting better but it is quite a process. Soon he will have to go into an in-house rehabilitation facility. Then after, there is a strong possibility of dialysis and he will be home with oxygen. They do have insurance through James's employer but the cost when he comes home will continue to rise. He will have added medication, therapy and the oxygen.
