MEDICAL CARE FOR ISLEY

Hello, many of you know my sister Elesi, and her Bull Terrier X Staffy ~ Isley.

** UPDATE 26/04/23**

Isley is doing very well, he has been home and bed bound for weeks post surgery. He has been healing so well and we can finally see him running around like always in the future. He has a six week xray this week and hopefully everything is looking amazing!

Tragically he was accidentally hit by a car on a freeway on Sunday night during an evening walk - and he has been in hospital for 2 nights. He is stabilising, but the vet bills have left us absolutely floored - including this service happening over a Sunday and a Public Holiday - incurring higher rates than what is already an expensive service.

If you’re close to the Vunakis you know our dogs mean the world to us.

Isley is such a beam of light in our lives and he helps us beyond words.

Any help to cover the vet bills and the potential for hip surgery would be so appreciated. The first sum is already over $3k and we are anticipating more, as he is now at his regular vet, and may need to see an orthopaedic surgeon in the coming days. His hip is dislocating as well as many lacerations on his belly, as well as being bruised and wounded all over.

**UPDATE**

Isley has been transferred from one vet to another over the last 24hrs, he has seen multiple vets and nurses so they can make all the right decisions regarding what to do next for Isley. He is undergoing a CT scan to check for spinal damage before they do surgery tomorrow.

With all the costs of transfers, pain relief, anaesthesia, overnight care, surgery, scans and aftercare we are looking at $8000. Not including the $4000 spent since sunday evening.
