On May 8, 2023, my life was changed in a tragic way. My Fiance and I were heading home from Mobile, AL on his motorcycle. We lost control of the bike and hit a guardrail. I came to on my back and rolled to my stomach because it felt like my feet were on fire. When I looked down I could see the blood coming from my feet so I knew it was burning from my injuries. I looked up to see my Fiance laying in front of me. I called his name but he didn't answer me. I figured he was still unconscious. A bystander stopped to help and called 911. I contniued to call for him still no answer. I called on the Lord and asked for help. "Lord help us, save us, please help us Jesus." Paramedics arrived and I was rushed to the hospital. My paramedic just so happened to be a man named Kyle who came to eat at my job from time to time. He held my hand the entire ride to the hospital. Once I arrived and was stabled, I went into surgery for the injuries I sustained. After surgery, I woke up and began asking for my Fiancé and how he was doing and where he was at. A couple days later, my mom, dad, and brother surrounded my bed and said they had something to tell me. They then preceeded to tell me that my baby (my Fiancé) didn't make it. He passed away at the scene of the accident. How? It's not possible? They lyin? He gotta be okay. When they told me he didn't make it, a piece of my heart and soul were snatched away from me. I cried and cried and asked God why. My soulmate, my best friend, my lover, my Honey Bear, my everything gone in a blink of an eye. It's like a bad dream that I wanna wake up from, but I can't. I miss him so much and think about him every day. We did everything together from waking up together, going to bed together, eating together, getting ready for work together, play pool, etc. I've been in the hospital since May 8th. I broke all the toes in my right foot, my right ankle, my right fibia, fractured my left ankle, broke toes in my left foot, huge gash on my right foot and left leg, gash in in my left arm, and abrasions to my back. I've had 4 surgeries so far and more to come. I still have physical therapy to go through as I have not walked on my own since the day of the wreck. I lost my Fiancé, my independency, and our place of living because I cannot work and are unable to pay the bills. I'm asking for help to pay my hospital bills, physical therapy and outpatient-care, my medicine that I am required to take, supporting my 13 year old daughter and myself while out of work with day to day living. Whatever you can donate will be highly appreciated. No matter the dollar amount, anything will be helpful along this journey through my recovery.
