Hello friends, family and all whom are reading my shared story. My 

name is Lupé Rodriguez and have a set up a fundraiser to help me get with arrears housing payments and medical expenses. Employed FT but have been on FMLA & LWOP status with medical documentation due to the fact I have exhausted my Annual Leave & Sick Leave. I applied for Volunteer Donations at work and was approved just recently, however have not met my goal. I have applied for disability /early retirement and SS Disability benefits. The process of Social Security Disability may take 90 days before a decision is made. The Federal/OPM process could also takes up to 90 days before a decision can be made. At 61 years & going on 62 next April of 2023. I have been diagnosed with Eosinophilic asthma which is a severe type of asthma caused by high levels of white blood cells called eosinophils in the airways of the lungs. The purpose of these white blood cells is to help you fight infections. Sometimes these immune cells are over-reactive and cause inflammation in the body, including in the lungs. Other conditions currently being treated for: Cervical Spondylosis, Osteoarthritis and chronic congestive heart failure. Due to my severe chronic asthma condition & lingering Covid it is necessary to continue masking due to my compromising health condition. It makes it difficult to walk long distances due to the Osteoarthritis and shortness of breath. Standing idle or long term sitting can be painful due to cervical spine and neck flare ups. Continuing with bilateral knee aspirations as needed due to fluid build up. Steroid neck injections for pain and discomfort along with Physical Therapy. This is only a short term fundraiser to help me get caught up with medical and living expenses. Hoping things will improve with proper medicine, therapy and mental wellness.
