My dad had a stroke on Monday Sept 2, 2019 and lost function of the right side of his body. The doctors also found bleeding in the middle of his brain and he is currently in the ICU at Medical City. He has many hurdles to get through, but he has been making progress and he is definitely a fighter! I was with my dad on Wednesday watching the therapist work with him, and he stood up for first time and managed to take a few steps. He is also regaining mobility in his arm! I have set up this account for my parents because I know that they wouldn't ask themselves.
