Medical Bills from Chemotherapy and Radiation

Hello, My name is Karen. I am raising funds for my treatments of Chemotherapy and Radiation. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer back in April of 2021. I had multiple surgeries in May and June 2021 to remove the Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and 4mm tumor before starting my chemotherapy. I had a port put in on August 2 and immediately started on August 2, 2021 with 12 weeks of aggressive 4 weeks of A/C (including Neulasta shots for 4 weeks) and 12 weeks of Taxol. Spent 2 weeks of recovery from my chemotherapy then right to Radiation Treatment. I had 6 weeks of radiation (5 days a week for 6 weeks-30 treatments)  It truly was a tough time and my body did go through so much in the past 10 months, not just physically but phycological as well.  I'm thankful that the insurance companies covered most but when I received the parts that were not covered in the mail all at once, my heart stopped for a second ($36,000.) in the mail. After tapping into all of my resources, negotiating with the insurance company and health care facilities, I did manage to lower the invoices to $19,000. Due to the aggressive and intense treatments, I was not able to work full time and my hours of work were reduced significantly.
