The Ballard Family

Most of you know the two people pictured above, but if you don’t let me tell you about this wonderful family. The Ballard family would do anything for anyone without hesitation and never wanting anything in return. I know this because they’ve done it for me several times now and I know she’s done it for a lot of other people as well. Karrie and David have devoted many years to EMS and the Fire service. Providing thousands of people with outstanding care and compassion. The Ballard’s have become family to a lot of people, including myself, and I want us to come together to help one of our own. Karrie and David are not the kind of people to ask for help. They’re givers and not receivers, but now it’s time we give back to them like they always have for us. Saying this family has had a rough year is an understatement. Most of you know, David Ballard was involved in a motorcycle accident this year that resulted in him being ran over three times by an SUV. By the grace of God, he survived with minor injuries and has since returned to work. We thought the bad luck was over, but last night we received a call we didn’t want. Karrie Ballard was involved in an accident that resulted in her being entrapped for 45 minutes until they could extricate her. She is alive, but the accident resulted in her breaking her T12 in her back. They’re not sure if she will need surgery yet, but it’s a possibility. We are still waiting to hear what the treatment plan is moving ahead for Karrie, but we are praying for healing hands and the best care possible for her right now. There are so many other things this family has gone through this year as well and never once have they asked for help. So I’m asking you all for help to make the medical bills, missing work, everyday expenses, or whatever they need a little less stressful. Karrie and David, we love you both!
