Medical Bills for Shawn Hughes

Shawn was diagnosed with Covid pneumonia in both lungs and was admitted to Clinton Memorial Hospital on November 13th. He developed sepsis, a UTI, acute kidney failure, intermittent afib, and a blood clot in his ankle that shut off blood flow to his foot for several days. Surgery may need to be performed on the foot once he is stable enough. He has been in a medically induced coma, intubated, and on a ventilator for a week now. He was finally able to be transferred to Miami Valley hospital on Thanksgiving day, November 25. He has been receiving continuous around the clock specialized dialysis called Prisma Dialysis while at Miami Valley Hospital. He is currently still sedated and intubated and is in ICU.

He is the primary breadwinner for his family and they need our help.

The money will help with medical bills, transportation, expenses to aid in Shawn’s post hospitalization recovery, and help the family with overall financial support.
