Hi, my name is April Wamsley and I am organizing this on behalf of my sister Sasha. On September 2nd, she developed a “thunderclap” headache, but toughed it out until September 5th when her loving husband James insisted she go to the hospital. He called later that day to tell us she was diagnosed with a large subarachnoid bleed into her brain and was being transferred to another hospital in Phoenix. Over the last two weeks she has had multiple procedures to try to stop the spasms of the cerebral arteries in her brain. They are both very private people and have waited this long to post anything, as they did not want to worry others. However, it is important Sasha take it slow in order to get well, and she is not going to be able to get back to work as quickly as she would like. She and James own a business, and she has two other businesses as well. They have wonderful friends who are trying to help to keep things going smoothly, but obviously this will have a large impact on their business and medical expenses. Lots of people have asked what they can do help, this is the way that would help the most. Anything to help ease their worry about the day to day bills , and medical bills that will be coming, would help and be truly appreciated. I will update her progress, she has started working on physical therapy, and hasn’t had to go for the intraarterial brain injection since Wednesday, so we are hoping it stays that way. She’s officially passed the two week mark of when they feel the bleed happened, and that’s a huge hurdle. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
