Medical bills for Sammi

Hi, my name is Sam and I come from a very large family. Within that very large family is my oldest stepsister Sammi.

Sammi was in an accident over the weekend and just before Christmas she is now facing multiple surgeries and a long and costly recovery.

Sammi came off a push bike and was thrown over the handlebars landing on her face direct onto the bitumen, fracturing all her teeth which she will now need to have removed along with other facial injuries.

No one wants to go into Christmas with such a heavy burden on their shoulders.

We as a family can only do so much to help and that's why we are reaching out. Sammi lives in Esperance with her youngest daughter who was unable to come along on the RFDS flight.

Along with medical bills Sammi will have to continue to cover rent, depending how long surgeries and recovery takes we will need to fly my niece to Perth and then the cost of getting Sammi in to see a dentist and fly them both home.

I realize this is a bad time of year to ask for help but even as little as $5 goes a long way.

We don't like reaching out for help, we like to solve things as a family and so with our pride put aside, we ask, can you help us.
