On the morning of September 5th, Coco went missing. After a long search, we finally found him on September 6th at 7:30 pm. But, unfortunately, he had been hit by a car.

Coco was rushed into emergency surgery. The vets discovered that his stomach and artery had twisted, along with other serious internal injuries, making the surgery extremely risky. Thankfully, he made it through, but he remains in critical condition and is fighting hard to recover.

Update:
September 7, 2025 Coco had another complication cause Coco was not urinating for the past 24 hrs from the time he was at the hospital. The doctor suspected that the bladder had a hole in it and was leaking inside his body. They tried to put a catheter to see if they were able to remove all the urine inside his bladder, but were unable to because they didn’t have enough supply to use for him. From there, we have to decide whether to let him be like that or transfer him to a different hospital that has enough supplies and doctors who can give him a better chance of survival.
On September 8, 2025, around 2 am, he was discharged from the hospital and transferred to another emergency hospital. From there, they were able to put in a catheter, which helped him a lot to remove the urine inside the bladder. We got an update around 10 am that they’ve seen a significant rupture in his bladder and he needed surgery. In this new situation, we have reached a total of more than $20,000 for his emergency care and upcoming surgery, covering the initial payment. This has placed a huge financial strain on us, and we are asking for help to cover these unexpected medical bills so Coco can continue receiving the treatment he needs.

Any amount, big or small, will make a difference.
