Lori's Breast Cancer Fund

Our friend, Lori, was diagnosed this spring with stage III metastatic breast cancer.   She has gone through chemotherapy, and she continued to work as a medical assistant at Arizona Oncology throughout her treatment.  In September, she had a bilateral mastectomy.  She had some complications after her first surgery, and had to have two other surgeries shortly after.  She will be having radiation and chemotherapy through spring of 2019.   She has had to take some time off work while she is healing from these surgeries, and the bills are starting to pile up!

Lori is applying for some funds through different cancer organizations, but those take some time to come in.  Her immediate needs are funds for rent and utilities, as well as medical bills.  

Everyone who knows Lori can attest to what a positive, caring person she is.  She brings hope and joy to the patients that she takes care of in her job.  She is a single mom and loving mother to her 5 kids and Grammy to 5 grandchildren.  This cancer journey has not been easy for her and her family, but she has remained fabulous (who wears lashes and full makeup to a mastectomy?) and strong throughout.  Please consider donating whatever you can to help relieve some of the immediate financial need.  Every little bit helps!
