Medical Bills for Jared Smith

Our friend and coworker Jared was in a terrible motorcycle accident last night. He is on life support and in a coma, but he is currently stable. He has sustained multiple broken bones, brain injuries, a spinal injury, and will be undergoing multiple surgeries.

Jared is a wonderful friend, brother, and son, and an incredibly giving person. He prioritizes love and kindness, and constantly speaks up for those around him. He has stood side-by-side with us at Via 313, and also runs a sober home for people who are in recovery. Altogether, he spends the vast majority of his time serving others, providing joy, laughter, and love.

Jared has given so much to us, but now he needs our help. Please donate whatever you can to help Jared’s family pay for his medical bills, and share with everyone you know. It’s up to us to show up for him as a community and show him that we care as much as he does.
