Medical Bills for Ernest Molina- Stroke Survivor

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a humble request. My father, Ernest Molina, has recently faced a series of strokes that have left him with significant challenges, including the inability to use his left arm, dysphagia, and other life-altering changes. Despite undergoing two surgeries and in-patient rehabilitation, there is still a long road ahead for his recovery.

Ernie, as many of you may know him, is not just my dad; but he is a friend to all. His generosity, warm spirit, and unwavering support for the community are well-known. My dad actively participates in St. Mary's Catholic Church in La Porte as a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and has volunteered as a coach in the local softball and boxing communities. He has volunteered in a variety of ways including doing BBQ fundraisers for those in need. As an avid BBQer, he delights in sharing his delicious creations with friends and family and hopes to be able to bring joy through his food again one day.

The journey to recovery has been undeniably challenging, but with my dad’s strong faith and the support of our close-knit community, we are confident that he will overcome these obstacles. He has made so much progress so far and we are extremely proud! Unfortunately, the financial strain of medical bills has become an additional burden on our family during this difficult time. Additionally, my dad has been unable to work. We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds that will alleviate the financial pressure on the family, allowing us to focus on my dad’s healing journey without the worry of mounting medical expenses.
