Medical Bills for Declan

*We are not telling Aaron and Jana about this so please do not share this online or with them*

Hello friends,

Last Monday night (April 27th) 5-year-old Declan fell out of the third story window of his house and was rushed to Providence ER by his dad, Aaron, and then transferred via ambulance to Randall's Children's Hospital ICU.

After being put to bed that night, Declan climbed onto a table, then the window sill, and broke through the screen, falling three stories. He was in extreme pain and was diagnosed with a severe kidney injury and internal bleeding.

Seeing your child go through such a traumatizing experience was made even more difficult because the family could not all be together. Due to the pandemic only one parent was allowed to stay with Declan at the hospital - his mom, Jana.

By the grace of God Declan was able to come home on Thursday (Jana's birthday). Though it will be a challenging time of healing (he is still in immense pain). I'm incredibly grateful to share that Declan is expected to make a full recovery.

Aaron and Jana are expecting a large medical bill for an ambulance ride, three nights in the hospital (2 in ICU), many different kinds of tests, pain killers, oxygen, prescription pills and more.

Will you 1) pray for peace for Declan and his family and 2) consider giving an amount towards this large unexpected medical bill?

I pray that we can surprise them with the same love they have in Jesus, through us. So that they know how supported, cared for, and loved they are.

PS. I also wanted to thank all of you who have already cared so well for them through all of this.
