- Hello I am Rogelio Rodriguez mother I am asking for help as some of yous know he was shot in his brain any parents worst nightmare doctors didn't have any hope they told me 2 weeks ago to just get him comfortable and let him pass on his own because he was having high ICP which are brain pressures and he would die or have severe brain damage to where he would be a vegetable but I pushed the doctors because I have faith in our father the healer when you believe with all of your heart in him and pour out your heart in prayers he will answer at his timing so I just had a conference meeting with doctors they want to discharge him in 2 weeks to a rehabilitation facility where i heard from family members who go there to draw blood that there is alot of abuse in patients i am trying to get him they want to put a shunt in his brain where the brain fluids will drain to his stomach instead of the outside like they have it and put a Tracheostomy because he can't breath on his own I am asking for any donations towards putting him in a better care facility and to get him a special wheelchair and a hospital bed so I can care for him from home once he can go home I don't wish this on no parent this is so heartbreaking to see my child like this I also need money for a lawyer to get guardianship for him since he is 18 to make medical decisions the cost for that is 7,000 which I don't have if not they will give to the state
