Liver Specialist called with results of blood work and it is NOT cancerous!! We still have to go for the MRI with and without contrast as well as the Elastogrophy.

Talked with Methodist hospital social worker & registration to see how much it would be if we ran it without his insurance and it would be $98k total and $49k down before they could it, so we’re sticking with paying the $2k

Hi, many of you know us, but not many know what battle we have been fighting behind closed doors.
My husband, Brent, is the sole provider for our family has had some liver problems for about the past year. He has had several blood draws with elevated enzymes so his DR referred him to Houston, Liver Specialists of East Texas. These visits are $75 a piece and he currently has 2 more scheduled then more follow ups after. We are mainly asking for help covering his upcoming MRI with Contrast on 10/27 at Houston Methodist. We cannot switch hospitals as this is where his Specialist works. Insurance covered everything but $2,143.00.
We have a cup drawing as well as other ways to donate directly.
