Medical bills due to contaminated metal in wrist

Hello. My wife Laure got covid last Dec. and passed out and fractured her wrist. She had to have a metal plate and screws put in her wrist due to the severity of the damage. She's had non stop pain and swelling throughout the year and nobody could figure out why. Then two weeks ago she had a large absess appear at the surgery scar sight. They did a cat scan and found out she had a raging infection under the metal plate that was actually eating a crater size hole away from her bone over this last year. The metal plate and screws were removed and cultures showed that due to placing a contaminated metal plate and screws in her wrist last year she had developed a aggressive MRSA infection. She recieved a picc line in her arm to her heart Tuesday and thought we had plans in place for her to go home and get infusions there.. Now after numerous plans have fallen through the last two days,, we have no idea when she'll be able to come home..Whenever she does she'll  need  6 weeks of IV infusions 2 x a day. It was going to be home health care but that fell thru.. then we got a ok from our insurance to go to Reid Hospital instead for the infusions until I can be taught to do them. Then this evening we were told Reid fell thru and we were told I wont be allowed to do the infusions after all due to liability.. This is a nightmare. Even though this was due to the hospitals mess up, we're stuck with the bills from it and this mess . The IV meds are not covered under our medical plan after she leaves the hospital and we have not found a cheaper place to get these meds in the IV form. The IV meds are $4000 alone.  We need to get the first weeks cost of IV meds raised immediately of aprox $700 to keep services going because she cannot miss even one infusion. Well be stuck with the out patient bills now too once again if they ever find her a place to go. This was so unexpected and upsetting and now there's not even a plan in place to send her to or let her go home until after Christmas. We truly do appreciate any amount donated to help us thru this and literally help save my wifes life with this medicine and hopefully killing the MRSA quickly.
