I am Jeffrey, married and have 3 handsome boys. I am 38 years old and I had a stroke on November 22,2022 which turned my life upside down. I was in ICU for 2 weeks before transferring to a regular room then to inpatient rehab. I underwent a right sided craniotomy to relieve pressure from the brain swelling. I will have to undergo another surgery in the near future to replace my skull flap. I have little to no movement on my left side. I currently am awaiting Medicaid approval but due to that I am not able to get outpatient therapy like I need and still as a self pay patient. Being in the hospital/rehab for over a month has caused a big strain on my family and our finances. My wife has recently just went back to work but will have to miss to take me to my appointments frequently.

I am in the process of working on getting disability but being under 50 years old it will be an extra long process with waiting and attorney fees on top of that.

so I come here to ask for donations to help my family get back on our feet after this. Many have donated while I was in the hospital and I am so grateful. I do not expect you to donate again. Prayers are also appreciated for my recovery.
