Hi, everyone, and thank you for visiting this GoFundMe page for our dear friends, the Hodges Family.
On August 13th, 2021, Naomi Hodges was admitted to UAB and diagnosed with Covid-19 where she was then almost immediately placed on a ventilator. 20 weeks pregnant with their rainbow baby and sweet little girl, Sadie Leigh, Naomi gave birth but Sadie was called up to Heaven shortly after to be with God and the other angels above. Over the next few days and weeks, the entire Hodges family, especially Naomi's husband, Trenton, and their son, JB, along with other close friends and family were clinging to updates from Naomi's doctors as her health was very touch-and-go. Battling pneumonia and other infections to eventually undergoing a tracheotomy, Naomi continued to fight and by the grace of God, was released from the hospital on Wednesday, September 15th, having been on a ventilator for over an entire month.
While she is back home and continues to recover while reunited with her husband and son, medical bills have started to come in, and still grasping the loss of Sadie, I wanted to start this page as a way for friends and loved ones to help out the Hodges Family, as no one should have to fight this battle alone. The Hodges have allowed me to organize this fundraiser so funds graciously donated will go to the unbearable costs of selecting a resting place for Sadie where the Hodges Family will be able to visit with her. Any little bit helps and know that the Hodges so greatly appreciate you visiting and sharing this page.
