Medical Bills and Living Expenses for Kelsey Cole

Hello - my name is Morgan Dorr and I am trying to help raise funds for a dear friend and classmate to assist with medical bills and general living expenses.

Kelsey Cole (Jones) is an alumni of Jonesport-Beals High School — class of 2013. She was an awesome classmate and is an even better friend, wife, and mom. Kelsey is one of the most selfless people I know and she would never dream of asking for help, even during challenging times. It always seems like the worst things happen to the best people.

Recently Kelsey has been going through a series of traumatic events. In July, Kelsey and her family tragically lost their 25 week old baby girl— Lilly Rae. Today Kelsey announced she had a biopsy completed and it showed she has an aggressive adenocarcinoma of the cervix which extends to the uterus. The prognosis is very poor. She is awaiting a discussion with the doctor to hear possible treatment options though they will likely include a total hysterectomy with a combination of chemo/radiation.

Endless prayers are more than appreciate at this time for Kelsey and her family. With that being said, I hope to also alleviate some of the financial burden off of this sweet, young family by showing our community support.

We will be holding a benefit supper on September 30th at the Community of Christ Church in Jonesport from 4-7 pm.
