Hello everyone, my name is Omar Rashad Smith. I was in a motorcycle accident on August 7th, 2022, headed back to Georgia from Louisana after the Roundup, when another motorcyclist came over into our group's formation out of nowhere, causing me to go down. All I could do was brace myself and keep from causing others any harm at that moment. I am thankful to God to be still alive; unfortunately, I have a broken right ankle that underwent surgery, a broken right wrist that has undergone two surgeries with a fractured pinky finger, and severe road rash from my left side to my backside. I stayed in the Louisana hospital for almost two weeks; now, I am safely back in Georgia, trying to heal physically and mentally. I said mentally because the group said that the other group the female rider was in never stopped to see if I was okay. I have been unable to work and won't be for some months due to healing and therapy. But God's blessings to her and them, I am just thankful I had my other brothers and sisters with me along with God. I wanted everyone who could and will donate to this fundraiser to help me stay ahead on my monthly bills and medical expenses. I want everyone to know how important this is to me because, at this moment, I will not be able to work and maintain these monthly tasks alone. Thank you.
