Hi, my name is Alex and I’m fundraising for a family I grew up with.

A family who would give the shirt off their back or the last cent to their name if it meant helping someone else out, and they have done just that, multiple times. I’m looking to give back.

Im hoping our community will come together for them, the way they have numerous times for other people In need.

just this week their son, Landon 15 years old. Has been experiencing very serious medical issues, last night was admitted to the IWK after finding a mass in his lungs, there is a biopsy being done to figure out if it’s cancerous or not. In the mean time, they are kept at the IWK and of course, have to choose between being with their son, or going back to work to keep up on bills and life expenses. No one would want to leave their child’s side in a situation like this.

this could go many ways, but when I found out, the first thing I wanted to do was try and help anyway I could, I can’t stress enough how great Landon, Lisa (mom) and Darcy (dad) truly are.

I’m hoping to raise some money to relieve the financial burden of going back to work until they get this figured out, so they can be together as a family and navigate this incredibly stressful time.

This would go towards gas, food, hotel stays, travelling, medical expenses if they arise, monthly bills, etc.

I set the goal to $8,000 because you just don’t know what will come next, but this family is appreciative of any help what so ever. Big or small.
