Update on my son's health.

With my son Jon Teigen Salter’s permission, I’m reaching out about something very personal. Teigen is 27 years old and works as a Physical Therapist in Colorado. Recently, he was diagnosed with an extremely rare autoimmune disease called Goodpasture Syndrome. As a result, he is now in need of a kidney transplant. His results are now good enough to start the process, so if you have already registered, they will be reaching out to potential candidates next week.

I’ve held back from posting about this — mostly to protect his privacy and because it’s been a lot for our family to process. But with his blessing, I’m sharing now with the hope that someone out there might be willing to get tested to see if they could be a match.
