Medical bills and final Goodbyes

My name is Amber Kovac. And the picture you see is of my Mom and my sister. Our Mom is dying from stage 4 colon cancer. It has spread throughout her body and is pressing on her heart and lungs. The doctors gave her about 9-14 months with chemo and about 3ish without chemo. I am currently trying to work logistics for my family, occasionally working at Walgreens, and I am in college. We need help with the immense cost of cancer. She has tried the chemo and she had major reactions immediately to all of the medications. Quality of life over quantity is what we are aiming for. That said I don’t have money to cremate her, she wants to get a picture with the family done, will probably have to do an unprofessional one with my sisters camera. She would like to go fishing with the family. We have managed to get to take her to the zoo. The chemo treatment is removing all of her hair, it’s coming out by the fistfuls. She has sores and could not hold anything at all down the week she had her first treatment. Forgive my rambling as I am trying very hard to put this in a straight forward manner. The doctor bills are not all covered by Medicare, there is medicine that itsn’t covered, and the fact Ohio charges about 2,500 for cremation. I cannot borrow anymore for student loans to get this accomplished. I’m asking for help to allow me to give her a few days spent with family for a meal, a fishing trip (fishing license need to be acquired), cremation, and maybe a plot at a cemetery. I will happily donate any extra money to either cancer research or another cancer patient. But we need help. Just focusing on meds, medical bills, cremation, and the fact I know before the end there is going to be an ambulance ride, which is not free in the state of Ohio, I expect around 18 thousand dollars. Medical bills are… exorbitant. Again I will donate any leftover money to either cancer research or another cancer patient, just need enough to take care of her, and then to say goodbye to her.
