Medical Bills and Family Support for Joanna

Hi, My name is Melissa and I am fundraising for my sister Joanna. Joanna was admitted into the ICU and then placed on a ventilator May 16th. She is in a medically induced coma to assist her body in the healing process. She has covid, pneumonia and respiratory failure. She has been battling lupus almost 10 years and is a true fighter. Joanna is a single mom with two beautiful children age 10 and 11. First and most of all we are asking for prayers and strength sent her way as she fights for her life. She has endured so much this last year and when she returns home we want her to be able to get the rest and strength she needs and not stress about medical bills, child care or anything and just healing. Her children are being taken care of by our family and we are doing our best to lead a positive normal daily life for them. Joanna runs a small business from her home and that has been paused for now so it means there is no income coming in. Please do not feel obligated to donate, most of all we need Joanna to come home and for that she needs strength and prayers. If you wish to donate the funds will be going to everyday care for her children and medical bills as she is out of network for her insurance.
