Medical bills and expenses after tragic accident

My name is Bri and I am trying to help raise some money to help out my wonderful coworker Paige and her husband Jesse.

Paige and her husband Jesse were on a backpacking trip on the Oregon coast with some friends when Jesse was sitting in a hammock between two trees when one of the trees collapsed on top of him, trapping him beneath the tree. Coast guard was called and care flighted Jesse to the nearest hospital, where it was discovered that he had 3 fractured vertebrae, broken ribs, and multiple abrasions and lacerations to his head and back. Jesse stayed in the hospital while the Spine Team did magic and surgery on his spine. Jesse is currently in the process of recovering fully with his wonderful wife Paige at his side. Though there will be a long road ahead of physical therapy, rest, and hopefully no further surgeries-- both of them will be out of work for some time dealing with the physical and emotional repercussions of the accident.
