Our precious daughters Evelynn and Phoebe were born sleeping Thursday morning, January 5th. Peaceful, tiny but beautiful mirror images of one another, always knowing my warmth and protection and our unwavering love for them.

Through this blinding grief and the profound sadness I still feel so honored to have gotten the chance to carry these little souls inside me, they chose me to be their momma, no matter how short their journey was. I'm also blessed by the dedication and loving support of so many people from my medical team, family and friends but most especially my husband, Alec, who has walked by my side and taken care of us all, each step of this journey.

While our hearts are broken and our arms are empty, we take solace in knowing that our angels know so much love and are finally at peace.”

Due to the complex nature of their twins diagnosis of TTTS (Twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome) Marlo and Alec had to endure countless extra doctor appointments, scans, travel for specialist appointments, and so much more.
