Hello, my name is Savannah. I created this go-fund-me for my sweet brother Stephen Wells and his amazing wife Brittney. Tragically my brother Stephen fell off of a ladder last night while working. He has a broken hip (will need surgery and several pins put in), shattered his left wrist (which will require surgery), broke his upper jaw and lost several teeth. Stephen works as an independent contractor, which means he has not been able to afford health insurance. Stephen is the sole breadwinner for his family (he has two amazing, loving children with Brittney). All four of them recently re-located from Port Townsend to Michigan, which means a lot of their savings have been depleted. Needless to say, his recovery will take several months. He is currently waiting to have surgery on his hip which will happen in a few days. The dental appointments will occur in the next month or so; we are not sure yet the care he will need to restore what has been lost and damaged.

The money raised for Stephen, Brittney, and kiddos will be used to cover the cost of medications, transportation costs for doctor visits, physical therapy, and other medical bills.
