Medical Treatment for Josephine Riggs

Hello my name is Heather Nellis and I am helping to raise funds for my daughter's best friend Josephine Riggs aka "Joey" on behalf of her family. On May 4th, 2023 Joey was involved in a horseback riding accident where she was thrown from the horse. She fractured her skull in four different places as well as breaking her back at the T5 & T6. She to had to have metal plates put in to hold her skull together. She also suffered damage to her right kidney and a laceration to her liver. Her treatment and rehabilitation will be extensive.

Joey is an amazing young lady. She loves her horses and her friends. She missed her prom by 2 days and has graduation coming up. We would like to help her family alleviate some of the financial burdens that come with this sort of accident and treatment. If you can help support in any way every little bit helps.
