Medical fundraiser for Deb (Waltman) Cleveland

On the morning of Dec. 27, 2023, Deb was flown from Aberdeen to the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls. Upon arriving, it was determined she had an aorta dissection with numerous embolisms in both legs and her left arm. Deb immediately underwent a six-hour surgery. It was a miracle she made it through. She spent Dec. 27 through Jan. 9 in Sioux Falls being monitored and treated for the seven major wounds as a result of the surgery.
