Medical Assistance for Tigray.

My name is Akeza Teame and I am an Ethiopian-American doctor who has been  practicing in Ethiopia for the past 14 years. I am trying to raise funds for a medical mission to help those affected by the conflict in Tigray, Ethiopia. Funds will be used to purchase medical supplies, medical equipment and mobilize a team of health professionals for the medical mission. We will work with the Tigray Regional Health Burea, which will be the recipient of the supplies. When it is safe to deploy a medical team, we will mobilize the 80 healthcare professionals who have signed up to participate in a medical mission. Purchase of medical supplies will be done by African Healthcare and Research Foundation, a non-profit organization established in the US. I am the president of the foundation.  Purchase and dispersant of every item will be overseen by the advisory board that has already been set up.  Receipts and all associated documents will be posted for our donors to see.
