Life is a journey and on the road to life we are faced with many challenges. Challenges that require us to depend on others for assistance in many different ways. Today, we speak of health challenges for our mom…
Our beloved Terry, is in need of financial assistance to help with the expenses of dealing with her health challenges. In late April 2020, mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. This news was pretty hard to take, considering, she went to the doctor for a back pain that was annoying her. Due to a number of other pre-existing medical conditions, the doctors had to wait until August to operate. Once surgery was done, there was once again a wait before being able to start chemotherapy. Due to her pre-existing conditions, the doctors were not able to treat her aggressively, and to this end, the chemo did not work for her. After performing a PET Scan, it was discovered that she now has breast cancer. The plan now, is to look at alternative options for treating both cancers and those options are quite costly. To this end, we have created this GO Fund Me page seeking “Help for Terry”!!!
As she has No Medical Insurance, the immediate family which comprises of our father, Randolph (Randy), siblings Terran, Troy, Randy Jr., along with daughters in law Sherrell, Sandy, Mayla, her and sisters and brothers have all invested in mom’s medical care and bills to date. And while our efforts have been remarkable thus far, we still need your help!!
Terry Rodgers is one of the most generous givers we know. Over the years, she has been there for her family as a Mother, as a Sister, as an Aunt, as a Grandmother, as a Big Cousin and as a Friend. She has unselfishly given of herself to the Agnes Johnson Family Reunion Group, the Bostwick-Minnis family Reunion Group, friends, in laws and to the sports of Baseball, Soccer & most recently Tennis (as she supports her granddaughters).
The Family members are asking and inviting you to donate to her Go Fund Me account that has been set up to help with her existing medical expenses and future treatment cost. We are asking for help, so that mom can get the best medical care available, to give her a fighting chance to continue the wonderful life God has granted her….
