It has been a few months since I made this page for my sister. In that time she has undergone a very aggressive round of chemo, has had her double mastectomy, and is continuing the next phase of the chemo treatment that will continue for a year. The next step will be radiation, which will last several weeks, before starting the endocrine therapy that she will have to be on for several years. In that time so many people have rallied and helped her by donating to the fund and we are beyond grateful, we couldn't have paid for everything that she has needed without the support. As you can see with the outlined treatment plan she is still going through, she will need the continued support of friends and family both financially and emotionally. Hello, my name is Sarah and I have created this Gofundme on behalf of my sister, Mande. Mande was recently diagnosed with breast cancer but has yet to see the much-needed specialists or have further necessary testing done because her state-run Medicare has not approved the potentially life-saving appointments. Because of this, she hasn't had the MRI her doctor requested over a week ago and she hasn't seen the surgeon to whom she was referred.
