Medical Assistance for Ellen

Ellen has congestive heart failure, neuropathy, and diabetes. Two months ago, she was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and her outcome was unclear. Thankfully, Ellen recovered from her pneumonia, but not without issue. She is unable to walk or stand and was sent to a rehabilitation center following her hospital stay. She was only able to stay for two weeks before her insurance coverage met the max and could not support her stay any longer. 

Ellen still cannot stand or walk, and is now at home in the care of her elderly husband. He cannot lift or support her to stand/walk and while he is doing his best to meet her needs, they need support.

The family hopes to buy a stand and assist, get some metal railings in the household, and perhaps try to get some time with a home health aide while they sort out if insurance can cover any additional help for Ellen. 

Any help that anyone can provide would be a blessing to this family and greatly appreciated.
