It is with a very heavy heart that I write this and ask for help.

For those that don't know me, my name is Jennifer and I am David's stepdaughter. He has cared for and raised me since I was very young.

David has been living in Evia, Greece and unfortunately has suffered a heart attack and two strokes.

He is currently in hospital in Athens, on a ward.

David is receiving care, and we have been told that he will be discharged from hospital within the next week with no where to go.

Ideally he will be moved to a rehabilitation facility and will receive proper care there, but funding is needed.

We are working on getting a quote.

I have been in contact with the Canadian Embassy, a file has been opened and hopefully they will assist with options.

I intend to travel to Greece on my dime, but cannot afford that as well as what care is required for him going forward.

He requires 24/7 care, surgery and rehab and has no funds coming in.
