Medical assistance for Alex

This is my three-month-old son, Alexander. On Monday he picked up the cold that was going through our family and started coughing heavily. By Tuesday afternoon he was having difficulty breathing and we took him to urgent care. They quickly determined he needed to be transferred to the local children's hospital where he was admitted to the ICU, expecting to stay for four days, and diagnosed with RSV, rhinovirus, H Influenza, E coli and a UTI.

The hospital is an hour away from where we live, across a toll bridge. Between transportation costs and taking unpaid time off from work, we're having difficulty absorbing these unexpected costs.
