- I am the mom of Brent whom I’m raising money to help with the many medical bills he has encountered & will continue to encounter along with months of physical therapy & much needed equipment he will need for the rest of his life … Brent was an active, athletic, outgoing, young man . On the night of July 12th Brent was shot in a senseless "road-rage incident " because of a minor accident the Other person THOUGHT my son was going to leave the scene of the accident. He was shot in the back of the neck, and has a TSI (traumatic spinal- cord injury) he is still hospitalized on a ventilator. He is having a hard time breathing in his own He had multiple surgeries , 5 chest tubes (due to collapsed lung) among many other procedures...he has a long road to recovery ahead of him with paralysis. But with the many prayers I know he will get through this. Brent will need lots of good therapy both physical and occupational. Also lots of equipment to help him through it all once released ... Thank you in advance to everyone that can help & for all the prayers please keep them coming ❤️❤️Update…. Brent is still in the hospital fighting to breathe on his own… he has recently undergone 3 more surgeries & another lung collapse which had to result in another chest tube … we are 8 months in the hospital now and still in serious but stable condition.. he currently has several bed sores ( ulcers) hospital bills are piling up & still praying to get off this ventilator so he can have the intensive physical therapy he needs to be able to move again.
