Hi, my name is Joey and I have created this fundraiser for the Sirmans Family. Jessica and Blake Sirmans are the parents of Landon and Ayden, two beautiful little boys. Last week, they took their youngest son, Landon, in for an ear infection that wouldn't good away. During their appointment, they asked about Landon's stomach feeling hard. This led to an x-ray, ultrasound and then a direct trip to the Children's Hospital in Jacksonville. After more tests, it was found that he has tumors on both of his kidneys (they suspect Wilms tumors on each kidney). The doctors at Wolfson Children's hospital quickly got him into surgery to add a port in his chest so that he could start chemotherapy to shrink them before eventually, down the road, removing them. The expectation is that they will go through 6 weeks of chemo to see if they can get the tumors shrunk enough for removal. Following the 6 weeks, they will either continue with chemo or have the tumors removed (saving as much of the kidneys as possible). Once a week, they will drive to Jacksonville, Florida to have the chemo treatments done.  There will be many expenses associated with travel, hospital visits, etc.  

Jessica and Blake are both serving in the US Air Force (Blake is a First Sergeant and Jessica is a Technical Sergeant), and the military will cover some of the costs. This fundraiser is intended to alleviate some of the travel expenses that they will incur. They know they have a long road ahead of them and just ask that you keep Landon in your thoughts.
