Medical and Transportation Help Desperately Needed

Hey, I don't do this. (I'm a single dad/amputee that is used to being self sufficient) Moreover, I'm supposed to be the guy you go to for help.. But every now & again we all need a hand up. Right now is that time for me. Our bills are paid, there's food in our bellies & there's a roof over our head. What have I got to complain about? Except, I'm flat broke (account in the negative) & I can't afford to fill my prescriptions, or to drive halfway across the state tomorrow for my annual physical.. I managed to fix my van on the cheap so it should make it, but I'd be lying if I said it is "good to go" (overdue for an oil change & NEEDS shocks). I'd normally never ask for myself, but if I'm going to keep taking care of the boy, I guess I need to be living... Anything helps. I set my goal low so we can get the things we actually NEED, but if we could come up with an additional $500 somewhere (hopeful) I'd finish fixing my van too..
