Hi my name is Jennifer and my uncle Salvador was brutally assaulted by his nephew on Friday, June 6th. A stroke suffered three years ago left Salvador with limited mobility and wheelchair-bound due to the loss of leg function. He is presently undergoing treatment at Memorial Herman for severe spinal fractures, multiple facial fractures, and fractured ribs, in addition to a closely monitored brain bleed. Salvador is single and childless, relying solely on his immediate family. We are appealing to the public for donations to help cover his medical expenses. Salvador also requires assistance in finding a new safe place to live, as his current residence is owned by his sister, whose son committed the assault.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. ❤️

Update: My uncle is progressing well in his recovery and is currently undergoing physical therapy. However, he is still encountering challenges in regaining full mobility. Fortunately, his recent MRI scans have shown a marked improvement, with minimal brain bleeding and his facial fractures healing as expected. He has also made significant strides in his recovery, as evidenced by his ability to partially open his left eye and improved speech, indicating that his jaw fracture is healing. While his limited mobility due to the stroke may prolong his hospital stay, he is making steady progress in his recovery.

Update: My uncle is currently on the path to recovery. Although we have received assistance with his medical expenses through charitable donations from the hospital, he urgently requires alternative housing arrangements. The individual responsible for the attack has been released on bail. My uncle can not return to the property where be the incident occurred, rendering it an unsuitable option for my uncle to live. He is in dire need of finding a new residence. All proceeds from this GoFundMe campaign will be utilized exclusively for securing housing for him.
